About the Grantee
Camp Abilities Brockport aims to empower children and teens with visual impairments to be physically active and productive members of their schools, towns, cities, and communities, as well as to improve the health and well-being of people with sensory impairments.
Purpose of the Grant
To recruit and train a combined total of 725 NYS-based K-12 students who are blind and visually impaired, physical education teachers and coaches, and parents in safely and effectively including these students in adaptive sports and physical education in camp and school programs
