Purpose of the Grant
To partner with Perkins International in: (1) translating into Spanish the leading U.S. textbook on teaching adaptive physical education and sports to K-12 students who are visually impaired, (2) then making the Spanish-language version available free-of-charge in an accessible e-book format, and (3) promote the book’s use by TVIs, P/E teachers, and Special Education Departments throughout much of Spanish-speaking Latin America.
