Susan Olivo

Susan is an experienced foundation executive with a passion for the mission of the Fund and its programs and is delighted to be leading the Lavelle Fund at this juncture. She has a deep understanding of both the art and science of grant making, and its ability to effect systemic change. She is passionate about disability inclusion, accessibility, and inclusive and collaborative grant making. Susan joined the Lavelle Fund after serving for many years as the Executive Director of Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation.

Susan graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of New Hampshire, and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. Professionally, she enjoys public speaking and mentoring; personally, she’s an avid reader and accomplished cook who enjoys experimenting in the kitchen.
