About the Grantee
Learning Ally is dedicated to helping students with print disabilities, including blindness, visual impairment, and dyslexia. Learning Ally improves the way students learn at home and in the classroom.
Purpose of the Grant
To enhance the College Success Program through: (1) more deeply engaging non-mentored students, (2) pilot-testing a pre-college program with Tri-State New York area students who are blind, ages 14-18, (3) winning service contracts from three additional state commissions for the blind, and (4) annually recruiting and serving 500 new participants.
